Fish Report for 11-29-2014

Cisco's November ROCKFISH and TUNA

11-29-2014
Channel Islands Sportfishing

Saturday report includes EXCELLENT bottom fishing plus TUNA in November! Today's count is complete, and for the local island and overnight fleet the consensus is awesome weather and great bottom fishing! Lot's of Lingcod, Red Snapper, Whitefish and much much more! Pictured here is Miss Brittany McRae from Ventura. She caught this nice lingcod on the Aloha Spirit today.

Not in today's count: Ranger85 is on the 1st day of a 2 day trip. The final count for that trip will not be in until Sunday, but we can say they had over 100 Yellowfin Tuna, 1 Bluefin Tuna, 5 Yellowtail and about 50 Skipjack Tuna. Still another full day of fishing for that trip, so stay tuned for a final fish count and report tomorrow evening. (Ranger85 put a NEW 2-day trip on the books departing next weekend)

Today's Fish Count: 9 boats and 213 anglers
1900 Rockfish, 168 Lingcod, 159 Whitefish, 8 Sheephead, 7 Rock Sole, 1 Perch, 3 Bonito, 1 Cabezon, 1 Mako Shark and 55 Rock Crab (from HoopNet trip).

For Sunday: we have two open boats that both need a couple more signed up to make them a go. Obviously the loads on Sunday's trips are lite, so call the landing if your coming!
