Offshore/inshore bite continues

The Tribute and Eclipse fished offshore this weekend and had excellent Yellowfin Tuna fishing along with Bluefin tuna, Yellowtail, Skipjack and assorted bottomfish. Both boats have upcoming trips to take advantage of this endless summer style fishing.
The Sea Watch's 1/2 day trips are still catching surface fish including Yellowtail, Bonito and White Seabass. Saturday afternoon's trip landed 8 White Seabass to 25 pounds and 50 mixed bottomfish.

11-25-2014Captain Jake Hensley aboard the Tribute has done it again, 230 yellowfin tuna (limits) for the morning on a day and a half trip. He is now on the hunt for bluefin tuna and yellowtail. Captain Ryan Bostian aboard the San Diego has called in with 100 yellowtail for his three quarter day charter. This is a nice grade of fish from 10-30lbs and they are eating the yo yo jigs, dropper loop and the fly lined baits. The Sea Watch on a morning half day trip got into the yellowtail action, hooking eight yellowtail and landing three 18-25lb fish. The San Diego departs daily for the Coronado Islands at 5:30am.
