Sacramento River Fish Report

10-11-2014
Kevin Brock

This is a short report, because of the ongoing salmon action. It's a great time to be out fishing, because we're seeing lots of good salmon fishing every day!

We're currently fishing in the Chico/Anderson area, where fresh roe and Kwikfish are working best.

The mid-morning bite has been very consistent and productive, but we are hooking salmon throughout the day.

You never know what's going to hit next, because the salmon are anywhere between 8 to 32 lbs. That's what's great about fishing - is the next bite going to be one of those Sacramento River monster salmon?

You'll have to come fishing and see! 40-pound salmon are caught every year here, and you could be the next lucky angler.

But to catch it, you'll need to be on the boat first. I do have a select few openings over the next two weeks, so if you call quickly, you can grab a seat before they're gone.

Back to fishing - and (tug tug) fish on!
