Hot, hot, hot! This can be said for the weather and fishing right now. Today we had several yellows in the 25lb class with a few bonus halibut. Lots of fish came unbuttoned this morning too! Win or loose, these big yellowtail are a blast to pull on!
Not all of our boats were fishing for yellowtail today. Taking advantage of this awesome weather we had boats simply go out to load up on sheephead, whitefish and red snapper. A lot of nice lingcod caught today too!
Everyone besides the overnight boats are back now and we saw nothing but smiling faces with big bags of fillets coming off the boats.

Today's Fish Count: 6 boats and 95 anglers
22 Yellowtail, 3 Halibut, 59 Whitefish, 55 Sheephead, 25 Lingcod, 1 Calico Bass, 1 Bonito, 1 Sculpin and 740 Rockfish.

The weekend is here and the weather gods are smiling on us! We are looking at perfect ocean conditions with warm sunny skies for both Saturday and Sunday. Our boats are almost sold out, but a few spots do still remain. Call the landing to book your spots before they are all gone!
