Don't Fall for the trickery

Big Hungry

The Fall season is upon us and so are the fish that we all love so much. This season has been second to none and still continues to produce tremendous scores of Tuna, Yellowtail, Dorado and more.

The DAILY DOUBLE 1/2 day trips have been chasing Yellowtail very close to home. These fish are the 20-30lb home guards. Monday through Friday we offer one trip a day from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. and we still run two a day on Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M.

The MISSION BELLE 3/4 day trips have been bouncing back and forth between the local offshore grounds and the Coronado Islands and have been finding great success in both areas. Trips leave daily @ 6:00 A.M. and return @ 6:00 P.M.

The 1 day and longer trips are still offshore pursuing Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. This season will go down in the books as a season to remember forever. Hard to remember a better year for numbers and quality.

* PASSENGERS GOING 3/4 DAY AND LONGER WILL NEED A VALID I.D. *

* ACCEPTABLE FORMS INCLUDE DRIVERS LICENSE, STATE I.D. CARD, PASSPORT OR BIRTH CERTIFICATES FOR THE MINORS *

* PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 1 HOUR PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TO ALLOW TIME TO PARK AND CHECK IN *

Capt. Steve P. returned to his old stomping grounds at the Coronado Islands today. The 3/4 day trip on the Mission Belle caught 80 yellowtail and all of the fish were the nice 20 to 30lb wide-shouldered homeguards. As the offshore fishing slowed down this last week for the 3/4 day boats, it was nice to see Capt. Steve P. back fishing his old turf around the Coronado Islands. It seems like he definitely has a home field advantage when...... Read More
