Frank Ursitti - Ranger 85
Hi Anglers,
Today marks yet another high point in the summer of 2014.
Today's scores will reflect how strong the bite remains.
Many boats in the fleet have been calling in all day with LIMIT CATCHES of Yellowfin tuna combined with nice weather.
Looking ahead, I want to focus on planning your trip.
I have had so many phone calls the past few weeks with anglers wanting to reserve their trips on short notice.
We always do the best we can to accommodate our customers, especially when the fish are biting like they are this season.
This is what we have been waiting a decade for...full speed, limit style tuna fishing.
I tell our anglers to look ahead and plan their dates.
When the fish bite like this, everyone wants to get in on the action, and trips fill fast.
Planning ahead is essential.
We have very limited availability on the Ranger 85 until mid-September.
The Coral Sea has but a handful of trips in August where there remains opportunity.
That being said, this season promises to go strong into the fall.
That means we are fishing offshore through October when the weather is the best, and the fish want to climb onboard.
Check out our complete schedule of trips and plan yours today.
I stand by my past forecast of Dorado and Big Eye, as historically we have seen those species with this type of condition offshore.
The past few days, more schools of Yellowfin tuna have moved in, with many of these fish in the 25lb class.
As always, you can reserve online @ Ranger85.com or CoralSeaSportfishing.com.
You can also contact Randy in our office @ 619 997 9993.
I will be out on the water this weekend on a 2.5 Day trip and will post images upon our return.
See you onboard,
Capt. Frank
