Today was spent looking for kelp paddies and finding quite a few. Finding the ones holding fish was a different story. The one lucky kelp that was holding fish did give up some quality yellowtail and small yellowfin tuna. The weather has come up and its a little on the bumpy side here, while going up the line.

8-14-2007We spent the day at Cedros, chasing yellowtail and scratching out a day of it. John Vanderwier landed a 34 pound halibut, while Larry Whatley was up to his old tricks again and getting them on the Super 6X surface iron.
