WSB BITE CONTINUES!

Excellent fishing today and very nice weather! as you can see in the pic the "WSB Bite Continues" for the overnight boats and the local Island fishing is coming on very strong with quality WSB, Halibut and Yellowtail!!!

Reserve your spots now...the Pacific Eagle has OVERNIGHT SPOTS this week Tuesday thru Friday and the Pacific Dawn has 1 spot on 7/9, including multiple spots on 7/15, 7/16 and 7/17. The Island Spirit is running full day trips at 5 a.m. and has available spots this week Tuesday thru Friday.

3/4 DAY & FULL DAY TACKLE: local islands or coastal fishing. Bring a lite rod/reel combo that you can cast with 12-20lb line. Also bring a medium rod/reel combo with 25-30lb line. Torpedo sinkers ranging from 6oz to 12oz and maybe some sliding sinkers from 1/4oz to 3/4oz. Hooks, bring some 2/0 live bait and 4/0-5/0 cirlcle hooks. Lastly, bring a bait catcher in case the boat needs to make live squid for your trip.

OVERNIGHT TACKLE: Outer island trips you want to bring a medium rod/reel combo with 25-30lb line and a medium-heavy rod/reel combo with 40lb line. Torpedo sinkers ranging from 8oz to 16oz and jigs and jig heads like salas 7x heavy, tady 4/0 or bannana/gitzem glow heads. Hooks are easy, 5/0 cirlcle hooks for fishing with live squid. Lastly, bring a bait catcher in case the boat needs to make live squid for your trip.
