The mixed bag catches provided in this portion of the Caribbean continues to add excitement for the anglers. Everyday is a little different and one never has any idea what might bite next be it trolling or bottom fishing. There is always something lurking around these waters to make for a fun fishing day. This past week's fishing for 18 days reporting reflected 8 sailfish, 8 dorado, 12 giant barracuda, 1 Spanish mackerel, 91 bonito, 6 amberjack, 2 blackfin tuna, 1 wahoo, 11 snappers, 19 triggerfish, 5 soapfish, 2 pilot fish, 6 banana fish and 3 strawberry fish, amounting to a 14 mixed fish catch for the week.


PM Climate: Mostly cloudy days with intermittent sunshine and temperatures that ranged from 77 nights to 88 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions: Sea temps stable and warm, holding at 85 degrees throughout the area. Surface breezes from light to 14 mph, flowing from the easterly directions.

Best Bait: The everyday, freshly caught ballyhoo, continue to be this area's bait of choice for both, anglers and crews and has never been in short supply for sportfishing efforts.
