1/2 Day Fishing??- The "Western Pride" has really been doing some good "Catchin".?? The Sand Bass and the Calico Bass have suddenly decided to cooperate.?? The last couple of days have even produced??some Bonito and even a Yellowtail.?? The weather has been exceptional and the loads on the boat have been light.?? The bait boat has been providing both Sardines and Anchovies which probably has a lot to do with the very good bite.?? Now you can realistically expect to go 1/2 Day fishing and take home a bunch of fish. We have 2 trips daily, on Thursday and Friday??leaving at 6AM and 12:30 PM??and an Afternoon trip on Sunday.?? Sorry, no trips are available for Saturday.?? Bring 12-25 lb outfits??which will suffice for the 1/2??Day trips.

Twilight Fishing - The "Freelance" has started to get better numbers on the Bass, both Sand and Calico, and like on the 1/2 Day trips the Barracuda have started to bite.?? It appears to be a very late season bite, but we'll take it. The Calicos and Sand Bass have, for the most part been really good quality size. The weekday loads have also been light on the Twilight trips so get the rods and reels together and go out at 7PM.?? We have trips daily. Bring your 15lb and 25 lb outfits (same as 1/2 Day).

3/4 Day Fishing - The "Freelance" continues its consistent fishing locally for Barracuda, Sand Bass and Calico Bass.?? The area the boat is fishing has both Bonito and Yellowtail "showing" and who knows when they'll start to bite...so stay tuned.?? Again, your best bet for light loads and for plenty of fishing room would be to get out during the week.?? There are open party trips available all this week through Friday and we have a "Limited Load, Extended 3/4 Day trip available this??Sunday (August 17th) . Bring a 20-25lb outfit and maybe a 30lb??in case??the other stuff wants to turn on.

Full Day Fishing - The Albacore are??here again??!!!!?? The "Tide Change"??has had??3 successful days of fishing for the "Longfins" offshore over the past 4 days. The Albacore are in the 20-40 lb. range and seem to be plentiful.?? The last two trips produced 29 and 32 Albacore respectively.?? We have a trip on-line leaving tonight, Wednesday, August 15th. The better bite has been late in the afternoon so we are setting up 1.5-Day trips fishing Monday (August 20th).?? These trips are limited to 20 passengers and should be productive (without the expenses associated with fishing Albacore out of San Diego).?? Call us for details and advance reservations.

Shark Fishing - The "Caliber" has been hooking a lot of Mako's and putting some on the boat.?? They've been "accidentally" releasing some due to the size.?? Their last trips have produced Makos in excess of 125 lbs. and they intentionally released a Hammerhead Shark estimated at over 350 lbs.?? We have trips set up for this Saturday Evening, leaving at 6:30 PM and we have a Daytime Trip scheduled for this Sunday (August 19th) leaving at 9:00 AM.?? Bring your heavy Tuna-type gear, preferably with 80 lb test.?? We have specially-made Shark leaders available here in the office.?? Advance reservations are required.
