Qualifier Crew
Today we restarted our YT capturing efforts. The morning was a steady pick on that premium grade YT but as the day progressed the bite slowed down. We continued our slow pick throughout the rest of the day on big YT. The weather is great nie and warm. We are enjoying good food and even better company. We are heading north to fish the tasty red rock fish. the crew of the q105

8-10-2007What better way to start the day then with a few big fish in the grey. That is how our morning started with some really nice yellowtail and a wsb coming in the grey. After the sun came up the fish kept biting but as the day wore on in turned into a slow pick all day. We spent the day looking for and finding kelps on our way down south. However, much to our dismay there were not many fish on any of the kelps we ran into. We did find however, something to celebrate. Passenger Barney Klenga celebrated one his most important if not the most important birthday of his life with us....the BIG 21. The 21st birthday celebration left the sour taste of tough fishing a distant memory as...... Read More
