The fishing for Albacore was good for the anglers who ran out 45 miles from Santa Cruz. The anglers scored 6-26 fish a boat at 36'50/122'53. The water was not perfect but the anglers did get out there and fished all day. The Salmon bite was decent with scores of 0-2 near the East edge of the Soquel Hole and near the Black Buoy. The Salmon were caught trolling 70-130 feet down with Krippled Anchovies, Red Krocodiles, and Green Hoochies. The Rockcod fishing remains great at South Rock and near Natural Bridges. The wind has been blowing on the inside around noon so fish the Salmon

The fishing for Albacore was decent today out 35 miles from Santa Cruz. The scores ranged from 3-12 fish a boat working 36'40/122'38, 36'43/122'34, 36'40/122'35, and 36'47/122'50. The wind was up in the morning but the wind died in the afternoon and became flat calm. The wind is going to stay calm all day Monday so it could be a good time to run.
