12-3-2013
Hesperia Lake Staff
Cool weather and the extra stock of tailwalkers last week, put the trout on the chew. We stocked 2,000 pounds of Tailwalkers and 1,000 pounds of Mt. Lassen trout last Tuesday and the numbers starting climbing. Garlic Power Bait or night crawlers seem to be the ticket for this past week. Sandy point and the finger cove were good bets all week. Visiting from Riverside, Eight year old Jimmy Becera of Victorville landed a 6.5 pounder as his first fish ever, using Poer Bait from the north shore. Jacob Sanchez Jr. brought in a 6 pounder using a nightcrawler from the north shore. Alan Durran of Rosemead had a 5-10 trout with Power Bait from the north shore, Jose Cruz from San Bernardino brought in a 5-8 on power bait from the finger Alyssa Regalando had a 5-3 trout from the drain area using Power Bait.
1,000 pounds of trout will be stocked on 12-3-13 Weather is great with highs in the 50's and lows in the 30's.
