Fish Report for 11-26-2013
Rainy weather put a slight damper on the fishing last week at Hesperia Lake
11-26-2013
Hesperia Lake Staff
HESPERIA LAKE: Stocked 2,000 pounds of Tailwalkers today and 1,000 pounds of Mt. Lassen trout. A lot of trout in there for the Thanksgiving weekend crowd. Garlic Power Bait or night crawlers seem to be the ticket for this past week. Sandy point and the finger cove were good bets all week. Catfish are still on the prowl over off the north bank and sandy point. Visiting from Riverside, Agustin Topete brought in his 3.5 pound trout using power bait and Francisco Enriquez also using power bait landed a 4 pounder to edge Agustin out for big fish.
1,000 pounds of trout will be stocked on 12-3-13 Weather is great with highs in the 60's and lows in the 40's.
Wind is mild and every day is a great day for fishing at Hesperia Lake. The lake is still open from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the day session and 1:00 to 10:00 p.m. for the night fishing. No state fishing license is required.
Information: 800-521-6332 or 760-244-5951.
