Fish Report for 11-17-2013
Fishing at Rockport Reservoir is excellent
11-17-2013
Utah Division of Wildlife
Biologist Chris Penne reports hot fishing at Rockport. The water temperature is about 49??F and the fish are active. If you're fishing from a boat or a float tube, try trolling with diving crankbaits. Shore anglers should try using PowerBait, worms or marshmallows underneath a bobber. The boat ramp is still open and there is a lot of fishing access from the shore. The reservoir was stocked in October with 80,000 fish.
Rockport Reservoir will be part of the Wasatch Back Quad-fishalon. The tournament will take place in January and February.
