Utah Division of Wildlife
The fishing is still very good. Anglers are catching rainbow trout from the shore on green or rainbow-colored PowerBait. Anglers from boats should use the same colors with down riggers and needlefish lures at water depths of 25 to 30 feet. SR-65 is still open, but it can be closed if a major storm rolls through. For updates, visit the UDOT website.
East Canyon Reservoir will be part of the Wasatch Back Quad-fishalon. The tournament will take place in January and February. For details, prize information and the official rules, visit the Utah State Parks website.
