"We had a nice day of travel," wrote Red Rooster III skipper Andy Cates October 21. "Did a seminar this morning and rigged up the boat for winter season. Bait looks great and the weather is nice.
"We do have a system down below to keep an eye on. Hurricane is projected to downgrade and head out to Socorro. We will see what happens in the next few days. Cold water extends up to Alijos rocks so that is the obvious place to run or go. All of the hot water is in to the Northeast or east. We will keep a close eye on that but have business as usual until then."
