Tickets to see Barry Bonds hit his 756th home run, $25.00. Flat screen TV to see Chargers/Raiders game in September, $990.00. Fishing aboard the Royal Polaris, with the Queen of Hearts gang, PRICELESS!!! Hello everyone, well I can't say to much about this trip. We have had excellent weather, outstanding fishing, and just a great group of people to be around.

Our morning started out catching Mackerel for bait, but believe me, they came in handy. After bait making, it was time to start catching some quality Yellowtail. We had another excellent day of fishing at the island. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 25 to 35 pounds, with a few close to the 40 pound mark. These are just beautiful fish. Our anglers were put to the test today, with most of the fish trying to get to the heavy kelp area. We fished the morning on the south end, but by lunch time we made a move to the east side of the island. This move would be the surprise of the trip. We made a few drift for Halibut, and the move payed off.

We started catching more quality Yellowtail, along with some nice Halibut. We started catching Halibut up to 30 pounds. We did release 4 Halibut that were short, and a White Sea Bass. I think we caught 4 Yellowtail today under 25 pounds, the rest were all over 25 pounds. We had one box of fish that we weighed on the boat, and all the fish were between 25.6 pounds to 35 pounds. Man what a trip.

Once the sunset, Billy made the decision to make a move to the northwest, and try our luck at the illusive Bluefin tuna. The way this trip is going, who know what we might catch tomorrow. So until then, wish us luck. The R/p crew.
