WOW!!! That's all I can say about todays fishing. Hello everyone, weather continues to be fabulous. Flat seas, overcast skies, and warm afternoons. What more could you ask for.

Now the fishing part of the trip. I thought last trip was good, but this trip is starting out to be grrrreat. We had an excellent day of kelp fishing. Dorado up to 35 pounds, Yellowtail up to 35 pounds. We had plenty of action all day long. The morning started out a bit slow, but by 09:00 hours, the action was hot and steady.

We had many anglers out for there first time, and they did a wonderful job. Dennis Garcia is on his first trip, and he caught his first Dorado. Dennis first Dorado was estimated at 30 pounds, way to go Dennis Largest Dorado for the day was caught by Stan Wong. Stan fish was estimated at 35 pounds, but might be even larger. Sherry Ingles was on fire today, she showed her husband how it's done. Sherry caught her limit of Dorado and Yellowtail today (daily limit 2 Dorado and 5 Yellowtail). Many of the Dorado were in the 15 pound category. The Yellowtail were in the 18 to 22 pound range, with many of them 25 to 30 pounds.

We departed the area around 18:00 hours, and now we are headed to Cedros island. With reports of larger Yellowtail being caught there, we will give a group a chance at some trophy moss-backs, and a chance at some other game fish (White Sea Bass, Halibut, and Calico Bass). Are ETA to Cedros is around 07:30 hours. So until tomorrow, wish us luck, and we will keep you posted on our upcoming events. The R/p crew.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
