We put together a very nice day of fishing today. The conditions this morning were not very good for Tuna fishing so we opted to target the Wahoo for the first half of the day. It was some exciting action at times and everyone boated some skinnies to drop in the RSW well. This afternoon we found ourselves in the right place to get in on a bird school that just popped up close enough for us to get on. The Tuna fishing for the last few hours today was what everyone dreams about when planning a Long Range Adventure. The action was fast and explosive! The Yellowfin were all 140 lbs to over 200 lbs with the majority being in the 180 lb class. We did loose 2 fish in the bite that were acting like real Jumbo's. The new 3X5 Super Seeker Rod is a beast and a must have for anyone who targets trophy Yellowfin. The 3x5 paired up with Salty's "Rail Dog" put the wood to some big tuna today. Tonight we will get back to catching bait and be ready for whatever tomorrow brings us. "The Intrepid Team"
