Trout fishing is coming on at San Pablo Reservoir -- Mike King wins 1st Annual Trout Challenge

San Pablo Reservoir

Lake Hours: 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Boats must be off the Water: 6:30 PM
Boat Launch Area is Open: 7 days a week with snacks and drinks available
Last Plant: 1,200 lbs. of Trout were planted on September 17, 2012. Water Temperature: 70 degrees

Catfish have been biting at Scow Canyon and across from the boat launch area and from the shoreline near the boat launch area. Catfish have been biting on nightcrawlers, Anchovies. Shrimp and Chicken Liver.

The Bass bite has worked for people using drop-shots and Crank Baits as well as top water lures.

The Trout bite has picked up and seems to be coming on by the Dam and along the Rock Wall.

Trollers have done well using the Broken-Back-Fire Tiger and Panther Martin lures.
