Fantastic day of fishing! This 3rd day of our trip was full speed action all day long. We found a school of those Big Yellows this morning and were done by noon! These were all Great Quality fish in the 20-40lb range with an honest 25lb average.. While everyone was taking a break and enjoying a big fat Bacon Cheeseburger we pulled the hook and headed offshore. It didn't take very long to get our first jig strike on Yellow fin Tuna. We then spent the rest of the afternoon catching Yellow fin from football size on up to 35lbs. The sportsmanship with this group is also something special, as they released many more Yellows and lots of the smaller Tuna to grow and fight again another day.. These guys were sore and tired by the end of the day, so we called it at 6:30 and started back up the line to spend the rest of the trip catching more Bluefin. Baja Fish Gear raffled off two New reels at days end for a couple of our lucky anglers. We will try for some Halibut along the coast tomorrow and spend the rest of the week on the Bluefin grounds.
