Our annual Larry Brown 7 day trip has a special purpose in the form of a fund raiser for the Youth Fishing Foundation. This year Larry and the gang raffled off many great fishing items generating $1060 for the program. A special thanks to the MDRA, LARRC Foundation, Friends of Rollo, and Chuck Byron art of fishing, for their generous donations in this years fund raiser. We have spent the last 2 days kelp paddy hopping around the beautiful Pacific for a mixed bag of Bluefin Tuna, Dorado, and Yellowtails. The right kelp would hold all three species while the majority had Dorado on them for some high flying fun. Today we found our share of kelps to add more Dorado to the catch, but we never connected on a big tuna hit, although we found a couple of nice schools only to watch them sink out rather quickly. A tough trip for us in general, but a great time was had by all..Looking forward to next years trips guys and gals.. A special thanks to all the sponsors who donated gear for our trip this year...
