According to Captain Temo Verboonen, there is no fish report this past week due to the precarious inclement weather conditions throughout the area. Two separate low pressure storms hit the area this past week, simultaneously, and created enormous amounts of rain, lots of problems and damage, including the sinking of several boats in the Bay, damage to numerous hillside homes, bridges out and routes to other areas cut, etc. While Temo said he was fine and his boat was fine, an awful lot of people all over the area are having serious problems just to survive. "We are faced with more rain for the next few days and this will most likely complicate the severity of the problems for Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and the surrounding areas".

IZ Climate: On and Off heavy rains through Sunday with temps that ranged from 73 nights to 90 daytime highs. River mouths are running almost full and flowing into the ocean full speed.

Sea Conditions: Good sea temps in the 85-86 degree ranges from inshore to offshore with surface breezes that ranged from calm to about 10-12 mph from the westerly directions. Good clarity offshore and outside the tide lines and river run-off areas.

Best Fishing Area: None Reported!

Best Bait/Lures: None reported!

Bait Supply: Nothing Reported on the Bait Supply but this area typically has an excellent bait supply for both, live bait and freshly caught bait for rigging.
