The fishing here at Cedros is alot of fun. Yellowtail splashing around, guys getting rocked or wraped up in kelp stringers and fish in the 20 to 35 pound class coming over the rail. Its just great to come down here, get a sunburn, throw surface iron until your arm(elbow in my case) is sore, laugh and giggle, yell and curse, tangle and untangle, use big tackle and big bait.

Today, Ryan June was hot while using his custom 6X jr., it seems that somewhere along the line he lost one of the hooks of his treble. For whatever reason this made his technique and jig scortching hot, this guy was constantly hooked up today.

Here on Shogun we had a splendid day of hopping kelp paddys. As I stated in my podcast tonight on www.BigFishHappen.com it is a pleasant surprise at the amount of dorado we are seeing this early in the year. In this same area we are catching yellowtail and some smaller yellowfin tuna.
