The Cortez reported in from his limited load one day trip with 18 anglers catching 20 40-80 pound Bluefin Tuna, 6 Yellowtail and 1 Dorado.

The bluefin tuna and yellowtail bite is on the upswing for the overnight and multi day boats, with some of these fish pushing upwards of eighty pounds. Captain Ryan Bostian aboard the San Diego reported a warming in water temperature at the Coronado Islands and late in the day spotting lots of breezing yellowtail.
