Yellowstone Guide Trip of the Week -- Hebgen Lake

8-9-2013
Blue Ribbon Flies

Once in a while, during the summer months, our guides will get a day off, and when they do you can usually find them on Hebgen Lake. This is exactly where Clay headed just a couple of days ago.

Thank you so much for such an amazing float trip down the Madison last Thursday. I had an absolute blast and I know my mom did too. It was great just to be out there on that beautiful river, and the fact that we caught some fish was an added bonus. My mom is so excited to continue to work on her fly fishing skills - she couldn't stop talking about it the rest of our trip! I had a great time fishing and working on my casting, but I think the best part for me was watching my mom's excitement when she hooked those trout! Thanks for making it such a great experience for her. Thank you also for all of your continuous instruction (and patience!) throughout the day - we learned so much from you.

Attached are a few photos from our trip. Also, the elk sausage was delicious - thank you SO much!!

Best,

Kate and Edie
