Water Conditions: Fishing conditions are good on the Upper Owens. The flows are at 113 cfs as of 8/1.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: The fishing is slow right now on the Upper Owen. Your best bet is nymphing bright, shiney patterns.
Recommended Flies:
DRIES: yellow sally, elk hair caddis, chernobyl, stimulator, rubber leg stimulator, royal wulff, humpy, parachute caddis, parachute adams
NYMPHS: rubber leg copper johns, flashback hares ear, prince nymph, wd40, copper johns, western coachmen, rubber leg Copper johns, birds nest, ap emerger, san juan
STREAMERS: crystal bugger, carey bugger, doc twin specials, damsel, marabou leech, matuka, hornbergs
