Mike Lackey docked his Vagabond after a three-day open party trip. His 26 anglers got off at Point Loma Sportfishing July 25.

Joe Buglewicz of Tucson, AZ took first place for a 35.8-pound albacore. He said he got it with a sardine on a 2/0 Gorilla hook, tied to 30-pound Triplefish fluorocarbon leader and 30-pound P-Line.

John McAvoy of Jackson, WY was second for a 32.8-pound yellowtail, and Randy Davis of Scottsdale was third, for a 32.4-pound albacore.
