The first annual Idaho Charter returned to Fisherman's Landing with skipper Art Taylor, aboard his Searcher on July 24.
"We had a hell of a good time," said chartermaster Kelly Perryman of Caldwell, ID. "We're already signed up for next year."
Perryman won first place for a 29.8-pound yellowtail he caught with a Salas 6X Jr. jig in scrambled eggs color. He said he used 30-pound Izorline on a Newell 338 reel and a Seeker Black Steel 6465 rod.
Justin Buchanan of Napa, ID took second place for a 29.6-pounder, and Martin Palasch of Boise, ID won third place for a 29.3-pounder, finishing the Idaho sweep.
