Justin Fleck checked in from their Lil Al's Oil Patch 7 Day Trip."We're finished off some very good Wahoo fishing. It was a very good grado of Wahoo at Alijos Rocks. There are some really nice Wahoo settled in there. The water is 72 degrees and purple and they were biting. We ended up with 63 in a couple hours of fishing. The guys had a great time. All 29 anglers had at least 1.

The fishermen on this trip pretty much had the hat trick. We started off with Bluefin offshore on that 50 to 75 lb fish. Then we went to the Ridge with a good grade of Yellowtail, 15 to 30 lbs. Then we went to the Rocks and finished off with Wahoo fishing. You really couldn't ask for a better fishing trip. The weather has been flat calm the entire time. I may sound like a broken record here but the conditions everywhere look so good this year. The offshore fishing has been stellar. The Islands have been biting. The Ridge is looking better & better and now Alijos Rocks is coming around. It is going to be a really good season.
