"We got on a school of Bluefin just after breakfast this morning," reported Intrepid July 12. "The fish in this school were mostly 30 to 40 pounds. After the initial flurry of hooking fish in the corner, it turned into a traditional plunker bite. We drifted with the school for over three hours before it was time for us to call it a trip. A great end to a great trip. Good fishing, good weather, good food and good people. I want to thank Baja Fish Gear for sponsoring this trip. The awesome raffle prizes for this trip were generously provided by the following companies: Salas Jigs, Seaguar Fluorocarbon, Seeker Rods, Calstar Rods, Daiwa Reels, Accurate Reels, and Owner Hooks. We also want to thank our hosts that put it all together, Bob Douglas and Ryan Gabaldon."
