"Everything worked out as planned today," reported Red Rooster III July 10. "We had incredible sign of yellows this morning and finished off with a couple of drifts by 10:00. Same great grade and actually more visual and surface action than yesterday.
"Our next plan was to get bait. Struggled at that for a while and then found the mother load. Perfect 6 to 10 inch greenie mackerel and loaded up. Now we are headed offshore and will be in the grounds tomorrow with as much bait as we can hold and ready to go. It looks like the weather will be flat for the next three days and we are looking forward to that."
