Shogun anglers take advantage of some really good Calico Bass fishing.
6-28-2013
Bill Roecker
"What a couple days of really good Calico bass fishing will do for you," said the report from Shogun June 27. "Tonight at dinner all you heard was stories from everybody's day. Bass fishing has been good for everyone, with the average size around six pounds, with several eight or nine-pound bass caught on every run. We are on the move south to Chester Rocks, with good weather at our backs. We will have our skiffs in the water in the morning, with yellowtail, white seabass and halibut around, our groups should have plenty to do tomorrow."
