Memorial Day Weekend Aloha Spirit Charter

The elusive tanker White Seabass have been biting in full force out Channel Islands Sportfishing. We set out on our Memorial Day Weekend SFR Charter aboard Shawn Steward's Aloha Spirit with high hopes of landing one of these trophy Seabass. We were greeted by approximately four thousand other vessels that had the same idea as us. However on our day, the bite shut down across the California coast. You know, it was a typical White Seabass fishing day where these fish join forces and decided in unison that they would take the day off. You could almost hear them heckling us as our hearts would race at every Perch that tapped our beautifully presented live squid. The comforting note is that the very next subsequent days, almost vessel on the water who tried achieved limits of White Seabass! Our charter of SFR Hardcores didn't let up as we relentlessly attempted to land one of these fish. Captain Steward salvaged our day by taking us to a nearby stone that offered a quick limit of nice Vermilions. We loaded up our sacks and fished in the comfort of great company and new friends. Some may say our trips wasn't successful, but all that were onboard had a great time fishing as there are no bad days aboard the Aloha Spirit!

A special thanks is in order to Captain Shawn Steward, and Crewmen Cory and Kelly for taking good care of us and providing another great fishing experience. Consistency is key, get out there while they're still biting! Call Channel Islands Sportfishing immediately to stop wishing and start fishing! 805-382-1612
