Captain Mark Oronoz of the Pacific Voyager just called in to report some excellent offshore fishing on their first of a two day trip. The first kelp of the day produced 26 Yellowtail between 8 and 12 pounds. They are approximately 90 miles from home and according to Mark the conditions offshore are good. He is optimistic about the rest of the trip, so stay tuned for more updates.
5/25/13 12 noon update: The Pacific Voyager now has 58 yellowtail on board.

5-24-2013Captain Todd of the Voyager just called in to report some quality Yellowtail fishing on the first of a two day trip. They have found multiple kelps, all of which have been holding fish. Captain Ray Montera ran the 3/4 day boat San Diego today and led 21 anglers to 19 Yellowtail, 90 Barracuda and 1 Bonito. Get those jig rods ready! 3/4 day trips depart daily at 5:30am.
