I took my buddy fishing a month ago and let him try my Revo SX reel matched wih a 7′ Veritas rod. He couldn't believe the difference he felt in sensitivity and smoothness from using his old rod/reel combo all these years. He was so impressed that he went to the Monster tackle website http://www.outdoorproshop.com/ and picked up his own exact combo. He also picked up some plastic baits that he wanted to try out this spring. We broke in his new equipment and tackle last Saturday in the Ca Delta catching bass moving in for the spring. We flipped plastics in natural colors and he ended up catching multiple bass with this nice 7.1 lber being the best of the day!
