Hello from your Lake Jennings!
The trout took a short holiday on Friday and Saturday. Sunday saw good fishing IF you were in Hermit Cove. A couple of limits came out very fast on Salmon Peach Power Bait. Some bass are starting to bed up but most are still in prespawn. No reported catfish.

Best Catfish Spots: Anywhere along the dam buoyline
Best Catfish Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally
Best Bass Spots: In the mornings in 25 to 15 ft. of water on the points. Late afternoon the males move up on South facing slopes to 10 to 15 ft. of water with a few right on the bank
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Crawdads and creature baits
Best Trout Spots: The big buoy at the Hermit Cove buoyline.
Best Trout Bait: The bait that catches the most trout is a Salmon Peach Power Bait
Notables: Sun., Dan Lapage, San Diego, 6-11 largemouth, black and brown jig, Cloister Cove.
Prognosis: We will stock our last 1000 lbs. of Sierra 'Bows on Tuesday March 12, 2013. There is still plenty of inventory. The water temp is 58 and is ideal for active trout. Don't stop fishing for cats because the water is cold. Just fish deep! Start throwing swimbaits.
