Lake Skinner Marina Staff

General Conditions: The water temperature is between 56 to 59 degrees and the water level is down 5 to 7 feet from the last report.

Trout: Seem to be located at the East Bay of the south side up against the reeds, or near Ramp 2. They have been hitting on yelloe PowerWorms, nightcrawlers, or Rainbow or Red, White and Blue PowerBait. Peewee lures and some white flies were also used.

Largemouth Bass: The best action is in the coves off of the points. The Bass can usually be found in 1o ft. of water. A lot of the Bass are still just following, they don't appear to be quite ready. For bait, purple and pink appear to be the best colors, drop shots, sinkos and crank baits have all been tried and work to some degree.

Striper: Some nice big boils have been reported this weekend. They have been in the middle of the lake but no Stripers have reported in yet.

Bluegill: Are still located only in the deep water and worms have been best.

Catfish: Some nice catfish action has been reported at the marina point and at Ramp 1. Chicken livers have been the best.

Carp: Have been biting on almost anything all over the lake.
