Fish Report for 2-22-2013
The trout bite at Lake Morena led the action for the week

Lake Morena Staff
Lake Conditions Surface temperature is 46.6 and 46.2 @ 20ft.
Water Clarity Water visibility is at about 2' to 3'.
** IMPORTANT NOTE** There are currently no state fishing licenses available in the Lake Morena area so be sure you acquire one before you arrive. The State Licenses is required.
Trout The day will come when the weather is not as important as the colossal catches. Today is not that day. With ice in the boats and snow on the ground a few hearty souls managed to accomplish adequate results. Lewis, pictured above and Son John Bertussi did well with nightcrawlers in Paradise cove. Lewis was the better with his 5 lb 2 oz rainbow. Ricky Jackson from Spring Valley fooled a nice 2 lb 4 ozer with green Powerbait in Paradise cove. And young Mr. Jaden Reuter, Photo #1 used the nightcrawler/powerbait combo to haul a stringer of 4 at 5 lbs 8 ozs.
Bass No Bass were reported this week.
Catfish No cats turned up this week
Bluegill No Pan fish were reported this week.
Crappie The crappie bite has slowed up to zip.
Carp These fish are saving themselves for another time.
