TROUT:
Webster Dizon reeled in a monster 7 lb. 8 oz. Trout from lake 4 on powerbait.

Cooper Maio, pictured above age 8 from El Cajon caught an impressive 6 lb. 8 oz. Trout out of lake 4 on a mouse tail.

Nik Sorenseene, Photo #1 from La Jolla caught a 5 lb. 4 oz. Rainbow out of lake 4 on a nightcrawler.

Daniel Medina, Photo #2 caught 4 Trout out of lake 6 on a disco ball. Largest weighed in at 5 lbs. Lakes 6 and 7 were recently stocked and reserved for campers only.

All Trout weighing 5 lbs. or over get you entered into the Flat Screen TV Drawing which will be held April 1st.

Jason Mills, Photo #3 caught a 4 lb. Trout out of lake 7 on a nightcrawler.

Chano Osuna, Photo #4 from Chula Vista caught a 3 lb. 4 oz. Trout out of lake 4 on powerbait.

BASS:
Aizlyn Flavell age 3 was fishing with her father John when she hooked into a 5 lb. 12 oz. Bass in lake 5. This fish fell for a 10" plastic worm.

Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes 6&7)

** No California State Fishing License required to fish at Padre Dam's Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.

Fishing Permit Fees
Adult (ages 16 and over) $9.00 per day
Junior (ages 7 to 15) $6.00 per day
Second fishing pole stamp $4.00

*One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
