Trout fishing has been very good at Santee Lakes

TROUT:
James Trent, pictured above of San Diego caught a 5 lb. 5 oz. Trout out of Lake 3 using a Mouse tail.

Pablo Cabrera, Photo #1 tried his luck on Lake 4 and caught a nice 6 lb. trout off power bait on Saturday February 2.

Reminder: Camper Lakes 6 and 7 will be stocked February 8th. Make you camping or cabin reservations now at Santeelakes.com or 619 596-3141.

Night Fishing (registered campers only, lakes 6&7)

** No California State Fishing License required to fish at Padre Dam's Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve.

Fishing Permit Fees
Adult (ages 16 and over) $9.00 per day
Junior (ages 7 to 15) $6.00 per day
Second fishing pole stamp $4.00

*One child under 7 may fish for free with a paid adult
