Good mid-winter fishing is happening right now on the Truckee River. Feels like spring in the greater Truckee-Tahoe-Reno area. I would like to see some storms roll through. We need them. For now though, the window is open, and you should get out there. Flows, and weather are perfect for this time of year. Nympher's-worms, eggs, stones, baetis, and midges. Dry flyer's-midges, and baetis. Streamer's-good and slow through the holes. Lets hope the storm doors open again.
