The Trout fishing is excellent right now thanks to Wednesday's plant. Roy Duncan of Escondido had the biggest trout of the past week at 6.25#s. Mr. Duncan caught his fish in Boat Dock Cove while fishing for Crappie. Boat Dock Cove, Senior Shoreline, and Willow Cove have all been doing well. Salmon eggs, mouse tails, and inflated nightcrawlers are the top baits.

Each month Whopper Contest winners in 4 categories are awarded a free fishing and boating permit. For information on the contest or fishing conditions, please contact the Ranger Station at (760) 839-4346.
