There are still some big Crowley fish in the Upper Owens
1-29-2013
The Trout Fitter Staff
Water Conditions: Good as of 1/28 the flows are consatnt at about 90 cfs. Packed snow on ground. 4X4 okay on main road but don't go trail blazing. The tow bill is staggering, especially for Hummers that "can go anywhere".
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good to Excellent. There are still some big Crowley fish being caught mostly up by Long Ears. Flows remain at nice levels for wading. Water is still cold so get down to the fish "deep dark and slow" with the streamers will get the job done.
