"We had a big change in action from yesterday's fishing," reported Intrepid January 28. "It was a slow morning with an early hit on 100 to 140-pound fish and only one Wahoo. We did lose a big fish after two hours when the hook pulled. After that it was very little action for us. There are now two Seiners working the bank and the weather has picked up and is forecast to blow over 20 knots tomorrow out here, so with all that we are on the move to the Buffer Zone to give us a change of scenery and hopefully some good fishing. With this weather we should arrive just before lunch giving us a good half-day to get things going again. This move also gives us fishing time along the way home rather than a long four-day boat ride up the line."
