Royal Polaris has almost constant Wahoo & Tuna action
12-19-2012
Bill Roecker
"Fishing is a strange sport," posted Larry Eilbot for the Royal Polaris Monday, "and there is just no way to figure out what makes them bite. After almost constant action yesterday on both tuna and wahoo, today for the most part they took the day off. No frantic morning bite, very little kite action, no afternoon or evening bite, and nothing over 140 pounds and very few of those. Neil Campbell had a very hot stick and personally accounted for about half the tuna caught. There was one quick flurry of wahoo and several of us scored, but it didn't last long nor did it repeat as it did numerous times yesterday. We have about 3/4 day of fishing left tomorrow and then we head for Cabo. That's time enough to make some one's dream come true, let's hope it happens."
