Fellow Sportsmen,
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I was down south with the family and we had a great Thanksgiving. I arrived home on Friday and went back to work on Saturday. Saturday and Sunday I had open loads and the fishing was quite good. We had action on both Sturgeon and Bass. On Saturday we had landed 6 sturgeon, unfortunately they were all short up to 45 inches. So close only one inch short! We landed a lot of small bass, somewhere around a dozen, and one keeper. Yesterday it was a little different as we landed 6 bass all good grade up to 29 inches. We landed 4 sturgeon and a good keeper at 53 inches. We are fishing closer to home now near the bridge and the best bait has been grass shrimp followed by eel and grass combo and bull heads for the bass. Actually we had 2 bass take the eel and grass-shrimp combo. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Overall it was a great fun weekend. Enjoy the photos.
