Lake Perris Marina Staff

Striper fishing at Lake Perris had another big week with the largest fish coming in at 26.8 lbs., it was caught by the tower with a swimbait. Colder and clouded weather are perfect when fishing for Stripers or Largemouth. The Largemouth bite has been good on the North shorelines of the lake on plastic worms or swimbaits.

There have been reports of angler's catching trout from a boat using trout worms but not many reports from anglers fishing for trout on the shorelines.

Redear are still coming out with some number and size to them more off a boat around the island fishing with red worms or trout worms. Bluegill have started to slow down moving towards deeper water but still a few are being caught on mealworms.
