Hello from your Lake Jennings!:
Don't forget that we are open Thanksgiving Day. The best bet for fish in the frying pan is still the cats. The bass bite has slowed. 2 or 3 fish days are the average. The trout bite isn't.
Best Catfish Spots: Cloister Cove and anywhere along the dam buoyline
Best Catfish Bait: Mackerel and chicken livers. Use scent liberally.
Best Bass Spots: Fish the weed line early and late with Gunfish and frogs. Morning Dawn worms or creature baits in 25 to 35 ft. of water.
Best Bass Lures/Bait: Creature baits or crawdads
Best Trout Spots: Cactus patch and Eagle point but they were not very good.
Prognosis: We will stock another 1000 lbs. of Sierra 'Bows on Tuesday. Hopefully the trout will give us another reason to be thankfull.
